Children's Musicals

Lots of energy
….big smiles….life learning experiences…..The Children’s music at Grace is anything but boring. Each Christmas and Easter, the children of Grace put together a musical.

Drama
Culture Relevance

Real life issues….the ability to laugh at our issues…..hold each other up through painful times…..the opportunity to learn about life and God……Everyone laughs and everyone cries. We all have times of celebrations and times when we need to see God. An interesting thing happens when real life is displayed before our eyes and we can look in on a problem from an outside perspective; things become clearer and sometimes make sense. Drama is an important part of worship on many Sunday mornings at Grace. Often a drama script is used to introduce a topic before the Pastor begins a message. Sometimes a drama is used as a portrait of real life. Other times we all just need to laugh together.

Mass Choir
One Voice

Christmas….Easter…..July 4th……just a few of the reasons a Mass Choir may rehearse. Holidays and special events are often highlighted by a Mass Choir. An open invitation is made to the congregation of Grace for a non-auditioned celebration together as a choir. We may not typically wear robes, but that doesn’t keep us from performing songs from the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, The Christ Church Choir, Handel’s Messiah and other beautiful, inspiring and worshipful pieces of music.

Praise Band
Not Your Typical Worship

At Grace we are constantly trying to offer the best in modern worship music. There are about 30 different musicians serving the church to bring worship music to the Grace Community congregation. The band’s musical focus is a pop/rock sound, but that is just the beginning. When a visitor comes to Grace, one may hear anything from the latest billboard chart topper (Switchfoot, Evanescense, Creed) to a creative way of reliving a great hymn of the past. We are not only about worshipping loud and electric. Once a month the band sits down on stools and uses acoustic instruments to lead the congregation in intimate, grassroots worship music.

Praise Ensemble

For three rehearsals, a group of worshippers dives deep into the music of Grace preparing to lead the congregation in worship. What is the message of the song? Who is the song trying to reach? How best can we bring this song to the congregation? These are just a few of the questions this ensemble uses to prepare for a Grace Sunday. The ensemble learns the harmonies and memorizes the words, but more importantly searches and prepares their hearts for authentic worship on the stage and through daily life.
